Books that moved me

I love the Diana Gabaldon "Outlander" series
Anything about Vampires (found the whole Twilight saga to be a little simple but still enjoyed them)
Anne McCaffery "Dragonrider of Pern" series (reminds me of my Mom as she got me to read them)

Music I listen to

I love music - any type. I love the way it makes you feel emotions and feel connected to the singer. Being an ex-dancer I love to move and will just about create a movement to any music I hear.

Interesting facts about me

Live in beautiful scenic Chilliwack, BC (2 1/2 hours north Seattle Washington, or 1 1/2 hours east Vancouver, BC) with my hubby of 15 years :-) (Actually we have been together for 18 - half of my life!!!!)

Dogs:
Abbey - mantel Great Dane, female, rescued January 2009 - her birthday is November 11, 2007 currently 100 lbs, 30 inches

Abbey is our first dog. We found Abbey via an ad on Kiijii. We are her fourth home. She was with her first owners until she was about 11 months old. We don't know why they gave her up as they will not contact us; but they obviously cared for her greatly as she was crate trained, basic obedience trained, and they had her on a medical dog food due to some possible hip displaysia the vet found. The 2nd owners had her for about a month. They could not afford the medical food plus were moving in to an apartment. The 3rd owners (who we got her from) had her for almost a month too. They had five children and an elderly dog. As she wouldn't come when called, pulled like a freight train on the leash, and destroyed their house when they went out, and chased the cats so they felt they didn't have time for her. She was underweight, being fed Walmart brand Ol'Roy and in need of some leash manner training. We brought her home and the rest is history!

Cats:
Mia & Max - domestic short and medium haired - 14 years old

We also have three young children aged 8, 6 & 3.

I was a stay at home mom up until this year when I started working at London Drugs in the photo department.
